●Product introduction

8500 is a single-component, neutral curing ketone sealant, with non-corrosive non-irritating odor, non-polluting adhesion to stone, ceramic and cement structures, etc., suitable for stone material exterior weathering building materials applications, after accelerated aging test, the physical and chemical properties of the sealant no significant changes, 8500 use squeezing gun from the sealant cartridge squeezed into the need to seal the press seam, sealant at room temperature The sealant absorbs the moisture in the air and cures into an elastomer to form an effective seal.

●Product characteristics

-8500 is a single component, easy to use, good extrudability and thixotropy in the temperature range of 4°C-14°C, can be directly constructed by extruding with a glue gun.

-Neutral curing, non-polluting and non-corrosive to stone, ceramics and cement components, etc.

-Excellent patient climate aging performance, aging resistance, UV resistance, ozone resistance, water resistance.

-Excellent adhesion, curing with most building materials to form a very strong seal without the use of primer.

-Good compatibility with other neutral silicone adhesives.

●Main applications

-Weather sealing of all kinds of stone, ceramic and cement components.

-Bonding and sealing of various sprayed aluminum alloy window profiles.

-Glass, coated glass and tiles, concrete, etc.

-Wood without oil penetration

●Use restrictions

-Can not be used as structural sealant.

-Not suitable for materials that will ooze grease, plasticizers or solvents, such as the surface of oil-impregnated wood.

-Not suitable for use in dense and unventilated places, because the sealant needs to absorb moisture from the air to cure.

-not suitable for use on frosty or wet surfaces

-not suitable for use in places with continuous water immersion or where it is wet all year round

-It is not suitable for construction when the surface temperature of the material is below 4°C or above 40°C.

●Packaging

-8500 is packed in 300ml(1X24pcs)) plastic tube or 590m(1x20strips) laminated soft film.

●Color

- 8500 is black, gray, porcelain white or other colors as requested by users.

●Storage and expiration date

-8500 should be stored in a cool, dry place below 27°C for 9 months from the date of manufacture.

●Safety instructions

-The product is not toxic when fully cured, but contact with eyes should be avoided before curing, if contact with eyes, please flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention; uncured product should avoid contact with children. This product will release alcohols during the curing process, attention should be paid to ventilation in the construction and curing area to avoid the adverse effects of the concentration of these substances on people.

●Maintenance

-General maintenance is not required, if the sealant seam is broken, replace the damaged part, only need to use solvent to remove the accumulated dirt, and then fill with sealant

●Testing

-It is the customer's responsibility to test the proposed sealant application and determine if the performance meets the customer's application requirements.
